In California Massage Therapists and Practitioners must be certified by the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) to utilize the titles CMT or CMP.  A CMP should have over 250 hours for certification and a CMT should have over 500 hours for certification.

If you want a relaxation massage or just have a little soreness from overwork, stress, or sports activities come see us, we will treat you as a client, and give you the best massage available at our client rates.


If you have a medical condition from a Motor Vehicle or other accident that your doctor believes can be helped by massage, see Lisa with a prescription from your doctor and if she accepts you for treatment then Lisa will follow your doctor’s plan for your care and bill your insurance company or your lawyer for any treatments.  You pay only if they don’t.


Intense Therapy is a massage clinic located at 312 Natoma Street in Folsom, CA. For more than twenty years we’ve provided medical and therapeutic massage and will work closely with your doctor or chiropractor and follow his or her prescription for your care if you are a medical patient or treat you as a treasured client if you come without a prescription to receive a therapeutic relaxing massage.
